1. General Overview
Melon Devices supplies smartphones through the Melon Mobile platform. By purchasing a device, you accept the terms set out below, including shipping, returns, and warranty conditions.
These terms apply to both Samsung (new) and pre-loved iPhone devices.
2. Orders & Payment
Orders are processed once full payment has cleared.
Orders placed before 12:00 (SAST) are processed the same business day.
Pre-orders and backorders will ship once stock becomes available. Estimated dates will be communicated.
3. Shipping & Delivery
Flat Delivery Fee: R199 per device.
Standard and express shipping available via trusted couriers.
Delivery time varies by region (typically 2–5 business days).
Customers must provide a valid physical address and ensure someone is available to receive the order.
Once dispatched, you will receive a tracking link via email or SMS.

4. Packaging & Condition
All devices are shipped in sealed, tamper-proof packaging.
Lithium battery shipments comply with UN3481 safety regulations.
If packaging is damaged on arrival, please notify Melon within 48 hours with photographs.
5. Returns Policy
5.1 Samsung Devices
Returns only accepted with an approved RTN (Return Tracking Number).
Request via online@melonmobile.co.za.
Devices must be unused, in original packaging, and returned within 14 days of delivery.
A 10% handling fee may apply unless the return is due to a Melon error.
Faulty devices are subject to inspection and may be repaired, replaced, or credited.
5.2 Pre-Loved iPhones
7-Day Out-of-Box Failure (OBF): Refund issued if a technical fault is confirmed and no damage is present.
12-Month Repair Warranty: Devices may be returned for repair (not refund) after 7 days.
Physical or liquid damage is not covered.
Change-of-mind returns are not accepted.

6. Lost, Damaged, or Delayed Deliveries
If a parcel is lost or delayed by the courier, Melon will assist with investigation and resolution.
Melon is not liable for theft or damage after confirmed delivery.
Damages must be reported within 48 hours of receipt.
7. Order Changes & Cancellations
Orders may be amended or cancelled before dispatch.
Address changes cannot be made once shipped.
